The aim for this project is to improve the user experience and increase the market competitiveness of Data Pulse, a Sales Automation CRM SaaS platform.
Data Pulse has a strong focus on sales automation - helps businesses to streamline their sales processes through automation and data-driven insights.
This is done through understanding market trends, user behaviours and aligning the product design with business objectives.
We analyzed competitor offerings, pricing models, and customer feedback to identify emerging trends in Sales Automation technology. This included features like AI-powered sales forecasting and real-time sales pipeline visibility.
Mapped out the user journey from initial account setup to lead conversion and managing customer relationships. Identified pain points such as complex workflows, data entry redundancies, and lack of integration with other business tools.
Data entry redundancy in this case refers to the re-entering of contact information.
Having to re-enter contact information (e.g., email, phone number) when creating a new opportunity or case related to an existing customer.
Data redundancies can lead to several problems:
Applied principles and heuristics of product psychology to understand user motivations and behaviors. Explored concepts such as social proof, scarcity and reciprocity to enhance user engagement and adoption rates.
Here's a breakdown of how each concept can be applied:
Social Proof
Customer Testimonials and Case Studies - Highlighting success stories of businesses using Data Pulse to achieve specific goals will reinforce the value proposition and encourage others to adopt the software.
Scarcity
Limited-Time Offers or Free Trials - Offering limited-time discounts or extended free trials will create a sense of urgency and encourage users to sign up before the offer expires.
Reciprocity
Customizable Dashboards and Reports - Allow users to personalize their dashboards and reports with the metrics and information most relevant to their work.
